Julia is a JIT- compiled, dynamically typed language with a clean syntax. Moreover, it is a general purpose language particularly suitable for computational sciences and high-performance computing. 

Topics:

* Basics: language syntax and sematincs

* Types, methods and multiple dispatch

* Debugging techniques

 

Target Audience:

Researchers and programmers interested in an introduction to the Julia programming language.

 

Prerequisites:

Knowledge of the basic fundamentals of programming is useful but not necessary.
